The Pup Place by Berkshire Pup People

Dog Daycare in Williamstown, MA

Your dog gets a real day: a walk when they arrive, time to settle in, and then play groups matched by temperament and play style. Rest, enrichment, and park time rotate throughout the day. Nervous dogs are welcome too.

How to get started at The Pup Place

  1. Book a half-day assessment through our client portal: Time to Pet Portal. You'll pay the $40 assessment fee when you book.

  2. Your dog spends the half day with us so we can get to know them.

FAQs

What should my dog bring?

1

A harness and leash. If your dog is staying a full day and needs lunch or medication, pack it and label it with their name. We have toys, chews, and water.

What happens at the assessment?

2

Your dog spends a half day with us. We introduce them to the space and other dogs slowly, then watch how they play, rest, and handle the day. Afterward, we'll tell you how it went and which schedule and play group suit them best.

What if my dog doesn't pass?

3

Group daycare isn't the right fit for every dog, and that's okay. We may suggest our Confidence Building add-on, reactivity training, or one of our walking or sitting services instead. Whatever happens, we'll talk through options with you.

Do you offer transport?

4

Yes. We can pick up or drop off at your home for $10 each way.

Everything runs through your Time to Pet client portal: booking, schedule changes, and payment.

How do I book or change days?

5

My dog is shy or anxious. Can they still come?

Often, yes. Our Confidence Building add-on gives nervous dogs extra one-on-one time to settle in at their own pace.
